A new children’s book tells the touching story of capturing the perfect wave in Cornwall.

There is something really special about the Cornish heart photo I took the day before my daughter Coral was born.  It’s become quite the famous image in the gallery now, so to have created this book based around the Cornish heart photo and the story has been an amazing challenge.

Set in beautiful Porthleven, the story takes you through the journey of how the heart picture became so treasured to Mike and now so many other people too. The stunning Illustrations by Hermione Rose bring so much life into it and capture so much of what we love about Cornwall and Porthleven.  My wife Lisa wrote it and brought a nice gentle characterful side to the story. It makes a great bedtime story for children aged 3 – 8 years old.
